Maybe……. It seems that it functions a bit differently. Time will tell. Now a window pops up for editing instead of the usual way which is close to editing in a block. Hopefully formatting and page justification works as before. I’m happy to see the “Figtree” font still exists! I’m rambling a bit to try to have a few lines to check formatting.
I see that you still have to select full justification when starting a new paragraph. No biggie, just more exercise for the brain.
I just checked, and going back to edit seems straightforward.
Now to change the subject
Not that it is any more worthwhile…… We’ve had cable broadband issues that pointed to the cable company. I’ve rebooted everything here several times with no improvement. I mean keeping everything down for minutes before restarting. Well, it took a 10 minute power failure to seem to fix things. TV streams much better as well as streaming to the computers. Maybe something on the road doesn’t have battery backup had to reboot. While not totally on the same subject, it brought back a memory.
I used to do electronic security and saw what used to be strange behaviors before learning more about networking. One was an NVR somewhere in the Metro DC area. The NVR was sitting on a desk sitting on top of the computer that controls it. The two devices simply would not communicate. I called the customer’s IT department and they rebooted a router at their office in Arkansas!
Well, as I hope to be feeling better and getting projects going again, maybe there will be more material here, and maybe something worthwhile. I have a practically new Weller WT1M soldering station sitting here on the desk just waiting for its real big project. That’s something I guess I should do a post on as it definitely does everything I want in a soldering station. It costs a bit, but I can’t find myself ever needing a soldering station that does more…unless I get into hot air soldering, which I can’t as I don’t see getting into SMD work with neuropathy cranking up.
