Well, I’ve been playing around with some Content Management Systems. To be honest, they are not what I was used to be when I used one after upgrading the first legacy site. It seems that today’s CMS seems to simply try to be another bit of blogging software.
You can’t set the header image easily on one, and on another, not at all. The instructions and screenshots do not match the current version at all! The settings screens are a totally different color and design, plus the menu settings described and shown in the Help file are completely different.
Here’s an update before I even published this post…..I just got on another computer and deleted the latest CMS trial. If there’s anything that seems like it should be on a simple HTML page, I’ll simply do one and link to it from here.
