I know I haven’t been making posts every day….especially since getting the bugs worked out. I’m contemplating redoing an Arduino project and documenting it. Basically, I want to update the code on the transmitting end. However, the heat we’re having right now isn’t letting me get outdoors like I want. It isn’t the heat by itself that is keeping me in, it is how the heat affects me now after cancer treatment. Previously, I’d simply go out and sweat a little, but now it really drags me down for several days.
The project involves a door monitor that identifies which door is open along with temperature and humidity for the garage. The current version transmits the information to a receiver on my desk indoors. If I update it, I will add a display in the garage (there’s an analog thermometer, but this is “modern times”). This project won’t happen all at once, most definitely not immediately.
I have three Arduino Nanos ready to go and several waiting for me to solder the pins on. I prefer them this way as I sometimes don’t want pins already installed. There are times I want to simply wire them into the circuit.
