I had to meet a garage door technician today and found some new fall colors while waiting for him to arrive. BTW: he arrived exactly on time! A few minutes of adjusting the spring made things good again. I figured that was what was needed, but garage door springs need someone who knows what they are doing.
Hopefully this gallery will show things nicely. The camera was my Nikon D850 and I used my 24-70mm 1:2.8 lens for all pictures except the one I was holding in my hand, that was my Samsung S22 Ultra. Minor post processing was via Lightroom. I used to use Nikon’s NX Studio, but lately they seem to be having issues and I’m tired of having to log in each time I use the program. It seems to forget everything related to saving user information.
After chemo and surgery, cold weather makes for more pain, but the beauty of autumn takes the edge off things while it lasts. I’m looking forward to taking more photos of fall colors, which may or may not get shared as I don’t want to bore folks more than normal. I’m still working on some electronic projects, but there’s nothing to share at this time.
It did feel good to get out and do a few things after the garage door technician left. I winterproofed the outdoor water system and got a few other things completed. The flashing Christmas light project is also getting attention when the workshop is fairly comfortable – not ready for photos yet…… Hopefully a little bit a day will help build some stamina.
