I’m not sure if this is a good thing or not….my being quiet. With the weather fairly cool, except for the last few days, I’ve tried to get things done outdoors and have had to rest afterwards. There are a few Arduino projects in mind that I hope to get going with documentation here. This leads me to yet another idea for the site…..
I may still consider installing some CMS software if it seems it will help group projects that may get strung out in a blog. Most CMS seems to imitate blogging software. It may be time to dig out some old HTML templates and roll out my own HTML site again. The problem with a lot of CMS offerings is their own sites! It seems most don’t really take time to show everything the software can do. There are other things I may try using WordPress in a different way, too.
There’s still a lot of things I want to do with the site. A forum (family friendly) is also a goal. Spam proofing it is a priority, too! There’s a forum that integrates with WordPress, but I’m not sure how up to date it is. It is also limited in function. I’m looking hard at phpBB. I’ve run it, Beehive (nobody has worked on it since 2016), Simple Machines, and a few others. Beehive would have been a top contender if it was up to date. However, phpBB is now the top contender.
It will take a little time to figure out….hopefully it won’t take too long.
Pictured is Cali. She was a very sweet kitty. My son named her that as she was a calico. She stayed very small and died young. She was very active, however.
