First, features may come and go as I try things out.
Well, I got nosy and started looking at the code making up HybridMag. It requires at least PHP 7.0. The other day I saw an older version on my server dashboard. It is now up to 7.4 and maybe things might run more smoothly. So far the only issues that I’ve seen deal with admin functions, not viewing the blog. Having said that, things will likely really go bonkers!
The site now loads much more quickly than with Twenty Ten. Even the WordPress dashboard loads faster. While HybridMag does so much more, it is wonderful seeing it load so much faster than even the theme(s) created by WordPress.
We’ll see…. Time to play around with more widgets, etc.
