The code causing the duplicated featured pictures in pages (posts are fine) should be corrected in an upcoming theme update per the developer. I really appreciate them jumping in without delay finding and correcting the hiccup. The update should be online shortly. Coding for WordPress themes is not easy. There is a lot that goes on to make it happen. The days where I rolled my own code are over (I still hope to get my legacy site rebuilt).
I am trying a new gallery where I hope things will be more website friendly.
