Happy New Year!

First off, I hope everyone has a very happy and blessed new year!

As an update, I removed and sent off the Holter Monitor on Monday. I have no idea when they’ll get it, but I handed it to the lady at the counter at the local post office. They should have plenty of irregular heartbeats to review.

The featured image is looking through a hole I noticed that could be seen in the Christmas tree when I laid the recliner back. Anyway, I played with it using flash on the plate on the mantle in the other room and without flash. Using flash was a lot more esthetic. Without the flash, the tree was simply an out of control bright blur that could not be remedied in post processing. The sharp line to the right of the opening is the door frame. Repositioning the camera lost the effect, so I left it as you see.

I played around, finally, with AI in Lightroom. Basically, I removed some cords and cleaned up the floor where we just carried something through and left pine needles laying there.

I just noticed that I didn’t remove the shadow from the cord beside Mary, but it most likely would not be noticed if I had not mentioned it. Hopefully the Gallery behaves!

Overall, I’m impressed with Lightroom’s AI. This is the first time I played around with it. To be honest, I didn’t pay attention that it even existed until now! My uses for AI are to clean up pictures, getting rid of distractions, etc. I’m not interested in making “fake” photos, etc.

Again, I hope everyone has a happy and blessed new year. Please do not leave God out of your life this coming year – and beyond!
