I decided to fiddle around a bit with Lightroom this afternoon after doing some post processing of some pictures I took after it started clearing up after a rainy start to today. I’ve always been conservative with post processing effects and decided to see just what a limited full-tilt settings session would look like.
Hovering over the thumbnail should show my notes for the picture. I’ve been playing around with the blog software, too! The camera used is my Nikon D850 attached to my Nikkor 24-70mm 1:2.8 lens.

The featured image is the result of boosting only the blue enough to get the faded look out of the sky. You can see in a picture in the attached gallery what it looked like if I maxed out the luminance setting.
Hopefully the results explain themselves. This is all part of getting back in the saddle after cancer treatment. BTW: I still have not given up on bringing my legacy site back. This is the site where I pounded out HTML by hand with no automation to help out…..that takes a while, plus I’ve unfortunately forgotten a lot over the years.
