pretty cool walt, wish we had the update version of Beehive at NL

EDIT: To play with splitting thread, Jewellz, thanks for patiently letting me give it the splits!

Talk to the Fish!! I think I know why he's holding back...there's too much to loose if things don't go correctly. Of course, John's smart enough to keep backups of the database. I guess all versions are compatible database wise.

The newest version has the ability to quote directly from the read panes in addition to the usual quote ability while writing.

BTW: I'm going to try to split this one off again and see how it does.

Interesting, at this attempt to split, it deleted and closed the thread...It should be back now.

That's OK, Melloe does that all the time.... I would too, but the voices can't decide which one gets to speak first!

they Are! and I have a tri-choir going on now! The group that represent school work are singing C&W songs- I hate that; the group that represents my profs are signing a dirge, and my old buddies, the rock.around psychos, are singing reggae tunes... don't know what that's about but... sounds pleasant by comparison

NL changed to 8.3 already (and changed hosting) - in less than two months. I think John's got the upgrade bug!

He really has. I need to upgrade, but I'm afraid I'll bork it if I forget some passwords it needs to operate. Everything stays backed up but I don't want to have to unscrew things....

If I do upgrade, I may drop the computers and radio forums and make a single techy one while keeping the back porch as is.

I may make the upgrade a minty fresh green; I just noticed how much this resembles Ubuntu's colors. Nothing wrong with that however.

Long time no see...

The Fish upgraded NL due someone finding an exploit in the code from running an outdated version of Beehive.

The bottom line it was a crash and burn and recover from db scenario.

None the less good to see you and wish you well!

Howdy yerself!

Was that the exploit that let someone kill Masnick's distro site? (I think it was him...) Never understood that kind of malicious activity. Although I did at one time have 'spin' on a diskette and caused some friends a bit of concern. ( "Water detected in drive A: Starting spin cycle...)

Only came back over here while cleaning bookmarks, and now I've stirred things up. (Woke Walt up out of a sound snooze on the back porch and all...)

Good to be seen, and grateful for the wishes. Best to you as well.
