He will for sure!!

I was looking at the weather alerts on NOAA's site and was wondering about that. Still down this morning, but like you, I have faith in him getting it cooking.

I'm off to work, catch ya later!

Thanks for looking in and saying "Hi"!!

Hopefully my arrangement makes sense here.

Yes, it's very wind, he and I are both getting it from the storm, but just wind. Since he is mountain it's probably much worse there.

the set up works fine for me (rednose) if that helps...

Glad is works for you, (rednose) it seems to (hopefully) work for others.

I was noticing the wind conditions on the NOAA site, and the red flag warning.

so have you started advertising the site? When I get time I am going to post those hamradio (re: Linux) tutorials. I suppose to advertise you have to tell the folks you talk to on the ham?

I'm letting folks know about it. I won't be surprised to see it get off to a bit of a slow start with so many other forums out there.

I'm trying to add the link to my siggies without seeming to be in competition, or advertising.

THAT WAS CLOSE, signing off until after the storm!!

soon enough It will catch on. I added it to the forum links at newbies. Since it's a versatile forum --ham and linux and tech right?-- it should take. Just need a core group to stop in... not polytic posters though... some with interest in the areas

Thanks for putting it in the Links!

Politics is welcome, but in its place set aside. I hope it will catch on in other ways, too.

I'm thinking about adding a couple folders to the Back Porch in hopes of having something that may give somebody an idea to discuss.

Gee, I may play with splitting this topic. It is a perfect candidate to practice on!

Don't be surprised to see it get split.
